Product description
With a GSV chimney fan from Exodraft, optimal draft can be created in the chimney using negative pressure in the flue pipe and chimney. The GSV has a vertical discharge, which means it sends the smoke from the chimney straight up into the air.
It can be used on both brick and steel chimneys.
The chimney fan is constructed to withstand up to 250 °C continuously. It is produced from cast aluminum, and all screws and bolts are made of stainless steel.
The chimney fan consists of a motor cable, a top section, motor, centrifugal wheel, cooling plate, mounting plate, handle, hinges, screws, and bolts. The motor is temperature-resistant and enclosed, while the centrifugal wheel and cooling air openings ensure that the motor is continuously cooled as much as possible. The motor cable is also heat-resistant and strain-relieved as well as protected by an external armored hose.
All this ensures a long service life and high operational reliability for the chimney fan.
If the chimney sweeper needs to clean the chimney, he can easily open the chimney fan and access it without any problems. Since the centrifugal wheel is made of cast aluminum, he can also easily clean it of soot and any deposits while he is already on the roof.
For safety reasons, a stainless steel net is mounted in the discharge opening as bird and touch protection.
