With an RSVG chimney fan from Exodraft, optimal draught can be created in the chimney by means of negative pressure in the flue pipe and chimney. The RSVG has a vertical outlet, which means it sends the smoke from the chimney straight up into the air.

The RSVG has a built-in monitoring system consisting of a pressure switch and a flow measurement system. The Exodraft control unit EFC21 must be connected to the pressure switch, which monitors the fail-safe function. The fail-safe function monitors whether there is sufficient draught in the chimney; if there is not enough draught, the gas supply is shut off to prevent gas leaks.

The chimney fan is designed to withstand up to 200°C continuously. It is made of corrosion-resistant aluminium, and all screws and bolts are made of stainless steel.

The chimney fan consists of a motor cable, a top section, a motor, a centrifugal impeller, a cooling plate, a support plate, a handle, hinges, screws, and bolts. The motor is temperature-resistant and enclosed, while the centrifugal impeller and cooling air openings ensure that the motor is continuously cooled as much as possible. The motor cable is also heat-resistant and strain-relieved, as well as protected by an armoured power cable on the outside.

All of this ensures the chimney fan has a long service life and high operational reliability.

If the chimney sweep needs to clean the chimney, he can easily open the chimney fan and access it without any problems. Since the centrifugal impeller is made of cast aluminium, he can also easily clean it of soot and any deposits while he is on the roof.

For safety reasons, a stainless steel net is mounted in the outlet opening as bird and touch protection.
